Teman Baik operates in various areas of Jakarta.

Outreach:

Outreach work is conducted by us in many zones across the sprawling city of Jakarta. Highly marginalized communities, such as those living alongside dangerous railroad tracks, are provided with a range of lifesaving direct services. Night outreach at hotspots such as bus and transit stations also takes place, particularly supporting the many at-risk youth who congregate on the streets, and a rapid medical response is available for road traffic accidents or other emergencies.

ChildSafe Agents:

Our team identifies, trains and supports ChildSafe Agents based on the streets and in communities in Jakarta, bringing child protection and support services to all children at risk or in situations of abuse.

ChildSafe Hotlines:

We run the Jakarta ChildSafe Hotline.

Futures Education:

We support families and children to register for, and remain in, public school

Futures Employment:

We run a full mobile outreach Futures Employment project in communities and in government community centers. This ensures that youth and caregivers access gainful and dignified employment through vocational training and internship, provision of soft skills training plus psycho-social support, as well as employment advice and placement into employment or self-employment.

Family+:

We support families in times of emergency to ensure that there is no family separation.

Our Program coordinates 3PC in Indonesia:

We identify and assess potential partners, supported in close collaboration with the 3PC International team.

Consultancies:

We conduct large-scale consultancy work in Indonesia with actors such as UNICEF, public schools and NGOs.

ChildSafe Campaigns:

We conduct community trainings and support local and international businesses to build their child protection systems. In addition, we provide technical support and training on child protection to NGOs across the country.
