A Royal Calling

*Myat Myat is a bright young woman who joined the LinkAge Vocational Training Program under Tha Ngae Chin Myar (Friends International Myanmar). She excelled in her cooking skills and was really hard working. She persevered and graduated from the cooking vocational program in October 2022 and immediately got a job as a service staff member at Roi Coffee & Brunch.

Sadly, she had to leave her new-found job because of family matters. She had to take care of her family for a while, as they were facing health problems. When the worst had passed and the family situation was slowly in recovery. Myat Myat applied for a competitive internship with the Chatrium Hotel Royal Lake Yangon.

She received the best news she could get – being accepted as an intern for four months from this September, and she will also have a chance to apply for a permanent position in the hotel.

Her family and the whole Tha Ngae Chin Myar staff are behind her every step of the way in her career—a hopeful journey towards better futures!
