”\u00a0Argentinian illustrator Ivanke and filmmaker and photographer Sof\u00eda are the people behind ‘Little Big Worlds’ , a very exciting global cultural project. Their goal is to create collaborative art with children from cities all around the world, reaching boys and girls from different communities and backgrounds in every continent and documenting the experiences to produce a book. They plan to visit\u00a0nearly 40 countries in 550 days and they have already held free painting workshops in schools, cultural centers, parks, hospitals, small towns, indigenous communities, large cities, etc\u2026<\/p>\n <\/p>\n 134 kids of Kaliyan Mith Siem Reap were so happy to participate in this project!\u00a0We had the opportunity to make 3 workshops with them, on Thursday morning at Chong Kneas KM Center with 24 remedial and supporting class students and 11 children from the Drop-in Center ‘River Center’. On\u00a0Thursday afternoon it was off to the \u00a0Education Center, Mondul Bay with 30 children from NFE classes and 27 children from Kork Chork Public School Pilot Project. We closed on\u00a0Friday morning at Anlong Pi, with 42 children attending.<\/p>\n We first watched the video of their one year experiences to date with children painting in different countries of Latin America, in China, Japan, Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam, Thailand and now Cambodia. \nAfter a short color mixing introduction from Ivanke -using his hands- (which made us all laugh!), everyone started painting his\/her auto-portrait or his\/her superhero. You can see the amazing results in these photographs – have a look at all the groups showing us their nice paintings!<\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n
