The focus of the group discussion was to understand their knowledge, attitudes and practices in relation to cervical cancer, general immunization, <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Human_papillomavirus\">Human Papillomavirus <\/a>(HPV) infection and the new HPV vaccine.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.friends-international.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/SAM_0258.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3642\" alt=\"SAM_0258\" src=\"http:\/\/www.friends-international.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/SAM_0258-300x166.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"166\" srcset=\"https:\/\/friends-international.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/SAM_0258-300x166.jpg 300w, https:\/\/friends-international.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/SAM_0258.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.friends-international.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/HPVgrp1.jpg\"><br \/>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Laotian Ministry Of Health will be providing the HPV vaccine for free to a target group of girl children aged 9-12 years, both in and out of school in the capital Vientiane it&#8217;s surrounding provinces.
