Shops Friends-International runs its own businesses to generate income for the organization, to improve its sustainability and reduce donor dependency. Our businesses provide practical training opportunities for young people and families. In our shops, we sell products made by youth in training and by families so that their children can go to school instead of working on the streets.
All products made by students and families are ‘ChildSafe certified’. This means that the products do not use any form of child labour and the proceeds go towards projects supporting children and youth.
