FRIENDS PROGRAMS

A Friends Program is a best practice program working with and for marginalized  urban children and youth, their families and their communities.

A Friends Program may be:

• Managed by FI (such as Peuan Peuan, Kaliyan Mith, Teman Baik)
• Managed by FI in collaboration with another organization (Peuan Mit)
• Initiated by FI and then managed as an independent organization (Mith Samlanh)

The objectives of all Friends Programs are to build the futures of marginalized urban children and youth through protection, reintegration, prevention and capacity building.

There are currently 5 Friends Programs in 4 countries making 1,250,000 contacts with children and youth each year.
