Two of the students recently reintegrated into public school in Loas talked to their housemother about school, Peuan Mit and what they want to be when they grow up.

Where are you from?<\/strong><\/p>\n A : I\u2019m a girl, I\u2019m 14 and I come from Paks\u00e9.<\/p>\n B : I\u2019m a boy, I\u2019m 15 and I\u2019m Vietnamese.<\/p>\n A + B : We live at the\u00a0 Peuan Mit center, we are students.<\/p>\n Where do you study?<\/strong><\/p>\n A : I study at Tongkhankham primary school, I\u2019m in 4th grade.<\/p>\n B : I\u2019m in 6th grade at Khoualouang secondary school.<\/p>\n And before, where did you study?<\/strong><\/p>\n A : I was 3th grade at Paks\u00e9.<\/p>\n B : I studied at Xamkh\u00e9 primary school before. I kept on going to school at the center, I passed in 5th grade and now I am in secondary school.<\/p>\n How do you get to school?<\/strong><\/p>\n A : I walk to school with 21 friends that also go to the center, and at noon, when we come back, we\u2019re very tired because it\u2019s hot!<\/p>\n B : I go to school by bike, it\u2019s easy!<\/p>\n A : The classroom is nice but the toilets are not good.<\/p>\n B : The teacher is nice and he gives us some very good advice.<\/p>\n What\u2019s the difference between school and the center?<\/strong><\/p>\n A : At the center during class, there isn\u2019t a lot of noise. At school, I have many friends.<\/p>\n B : School and the center are both good.<\/p>\n Are you happy?<\/strong><\/p>\n A : I\u2019m very happy because I have a beautiful uniform and the staff gave me books, notebooks and pencils.<\/p>\n B : And I\u2019m happy because my mother can\u2019t support me but the staff at the Peuan Mit center give me courage and I would like to continue with school.<\/p>\n What do you want to do in the future?<\/strong><\/p>\n A : I would like to be a nurse.<\/p>\n B : I\u2019d rather be a policeman.<\/p>\n Why?<\/strong><\/p>\n A : Because my parents are not in good health.<\/p>\n B : Because policemen are handsome.<\/p>\n What do you think about Peuan Mit?<\/strong><\/p>\n A : At Peuan Mit, I have a mother, a father, sisters, brothers, like family.
