Mith Samlanh ensures children evicted from Dey Krohom continue to go to school

Phnom Penh, Cambodia Following an urgent request from the families who were evicted from Dey Krohom village on 24 January and are now staying in Damnak Yoeung (20 kilometers from Phnom Penh), Mith Samlanh will provide accommodation and support to 30 children enrolled in Sothearos Primary School downtown (Grade 1-6) at their Transitional Home so they can continue their schooling without interruption. Mith Samlanh will assist families with public school transfers once the families are settled on the new site.

Visits will be organized for the children to visit their parents every weekend.

Registration is being organized today and tomorrow by Mith Samlanh staff and the children will move into the transitional home on Sunday 1st February.
