FunFair Wrap

The warm afternoon sunshine brought a real feel good atmosphere to Mith Samlanh’s FunFair on Saturday in Phnom Penh. Love was also in the air as young (and not so young!) people took to the stage to entertain the hundreds who attended what has become a must visit regular fixture on the Phnom Penh social calendar.

Romantic balladry and rock shared the stage with dancers and funky fashion from Friends@240, plus the important social and health messages behind the Health and Love website run by Friends were driven home by the appearance of none other than Dr. Love himself. Mith Samlanh students were kept busy in the beauty rooms as people took the weight off their tired feet with massages and other treatments. Games, stalls, food, drink and an amazing art exhibition all added to the carnival vibes, and of course the proceeds of the day will be used to support the many programs that Mith Samlanh provide to marginalized young people.

Thanks to main sponsors Cellcard, supporting sponsor Bong Thom, the organizing committee and all staff, and most of all thanks to all who attended, your support is vital and we appreciate it so much – see you at the next one!
