Saving Lives
Friends-International and its partners reach out to over 1 600 000 young people -particularly street children and youth – each year. We provide them with access to medical care, shelter and food. We offer a range of comprehensive services as part of our holistic approach to assisting children and their families to improve their lives.
Building Futures
Each year we support thousands of children to return to their families, go to school or learn a trade. Working with families, we empower them to be able to support themselves, so that they no longer need to send their children to work.
Friends-International works with street children in a developmental and sustainable perspective in accordance with the Convention of the Rights of the Child (UN-CRC).
We now run projects for these children and their families in Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Indonesia, Honduras, Egypt and Hong Kong.
